Let’s face it, the options for interesting screensavers on Mac computers are limited, often boring same choices we have seen for many years. Apple is good at updating and bring us some new wallpapers for the desktop, but we are pretty much stuck with ordinary old screensavers. I have looked around in App Store, but most of the screensaver app are either expensive, unattractive or have not been updated in years. Today I came across a free Mac app called SaveHollywood. It allows you to replace current screensaver by creating your own using videos stored on your Mac. SaveHollywood System Preference is simple, yet comes with many options to customize your settings. I can add one or more video clips from my personal video library on my Mac, play them as a screensaver in random order, fit to screen size and mute them if they have any soundtracks.

SaveHollywood is a Screen Saver module for OS X 10.8 or later. It lets you play movies when your Mac enters screen saver mode. SaveHollywood lets you define which movies you want to be played. You can either add a movie or a folder of movies.
